Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in the fields of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Software Development.
  • Experience in using SQL for extraction and transformation of data sets.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in designing, developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in designing and delivering data warehousing solutions.
  • Knowledge of core financial processes (e.g., accounting, billing, collections) or financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).

  • Knowledge of Google's Finance system infrastructure with an interest in learning about automation opportunities for Finance to realize efficiencies.
  • Track record of strong program management, prioritization, cross-functional stakeholder management and delivery in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and a bias to action.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication.

    Revenue Platforms (RP) mission is to simplify and centralize the prioritization and deployment of smart, Quote-to-Report (Q2R) digitalization to deliver the highest Return on Investment (ROI) on Finance platforms, for Alphabet. Ultimately, we aim to enable Q2R systems, processes and data fit for Finance that enables every product, anywhere, anytime, the right way, effortlessly.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Finance partners to optimize Google's Quote-to-Report (Q2R) processes, driving improvements in areas such as new product launches, system enhancements, and regulatory compliance across our billing platforms and financial operations.
    • Ensure timeliness and quality of project deliverables through proactive risk management and effective status communication.
    • Develop an understanding of Q2R processes and our revenue platforms, including Google's Payments Platform (GPP) and SAP to identify and recommend creative solutions to address Finance needs.
    • Manage the development of technical solutions, from partnering with multiple stakeholders to gathering detailed business requirements, through technical design, development, testing and implementation.
    • Play a dual-role of project manager and technical lead on concurrent initiatives, overseeing the work of third-party vendors and ensuring projects are completed timely, while meeting business requirements with exceptional level of quality.
