Minimum qualifications:
- PhD degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience leading a research agenda.
- One or more scientific publication submission(s) for conferences, journals, or public repositories.
- 2 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- Experience with Machine Learning (ML) platforms such as JAX, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Knowledge and expertise in algorithms, particularly imaging, computer vision, computer graphics, or parallel computation.
- Knowledge of modern deep learning techniques and generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for photography.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Research generative models for image quality.
- Research generative merge for multi-camera fusion and video quality.
- Utilize fundamentals of photorealism and authenticity in generative AI.
- Capture 3D assets with motion and depth, to increase immersion.
- Research new capture hardware (e.g. sensors and optics) with unique capabilities.
