  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience directly working with technical teams
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Ability to successfully land projects working with a global team.
  • Ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic environment and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

About the job

In this role, you will support the Tools Dev and Automation (TDA) team. The gAPT TDA team is responsible for delivering innovative technological solutions to enable our technical services teams to deliver amazing client service at scale. These teams support Google's advertiser specific platform and media products including YouTube, AdWords, DoubleClick and Google Analytics 360.

As a Program Manager, you guide teams to build tools for internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle through launch. You will implement the right amount of structure and process to enhance team productivity, without incurring undue overhead. You will be a technology expert who cares deeply about product development, and continually learning new approaches, You will coordinate and drive efforts across Engineering, Product, and Business Analytics teams and with business partners. You will be working on highly visible programs that directly impact the internal products TDA releases to over 4000+ gTech Ads Googlers and vendors worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage organization wide processes between India and United States engineering and product teams to ensure the TDA organization is prioritizing highest impact work and delivering high Return on Investment
    (ROI) outputs.
  • Manage dependencies between teams and across geographies working with other program managers.
  • Lead programs across TDA to ensure we operate efficiently such as product launch activities, project reviews, user immersion days, newsletters and other communications with leadership and partner teams.
  • Manage prioritization processes at a team and organization level to establish objectives and key results across Engineering and Product Management teams, and partner organizations.
  • Be a passionate process coach to advocate best practices and facilitate clearer objectives and outcomes.
