Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience working with retail store design implementation.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience managing and driving design and fixture manufacturing timelines, in conjunction with and support of the overall construction timeline.
- Experience in a combination of design studio operations, project management, and production.
- Experience working in a global environment on high visibility projects with budgets and brand or commercial impact.
- Experience with retail environments and programs (e.g., store design, construction/installations, fixtures and fittings, consumer services).

The Retail Design and Development team sits within the Google Hardware Design Studio as the group that oversees the design, build, and deployment of physical retail spaces. The mission is to create inspiring and sustainable spaces and experiences for all users.
The Google Hardware Design Studio oversees the design of all Google's hardware products including the Pixel phones, Nest products, Pixelbook laptops, earbuds, accessories, and more.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-faceted cross-functional projects and bodies of work including design schedule management (from project start-up to design development to construction/fabrication and installation), budget management, project communications, workflow, and resource management.
- Ensure timelines and budgets for all projects are adhered to.
- Identify opportunities for design, research, or construction, self-direct work, communicate impact, and influence cross-functional partners.
- Provide project planning and process management, leverage process standards, best practices, and tools while improving on them when needed, develop and drive innovative thinking and operational excellence that optimizes creativity.
- Act as a liaison and advocate between all project participants, fostering teamwork and building consensus among design team, partner teams, and vendors.
