Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

    In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will solve problems in steps that drive product development at Google. You will work across a variety of product areas including: Music and Premium, Creator Tools, Emerging Experiences and Community, Search and Discovery, YouTube Kids, Living Room, Trust and Safety, TV/Sports etc.

    You will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative features that enhance the user experience and drive deeper engagement. You will partner with teams across YouTube to define new TV interaction paradigms and shape the next generation of television.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Reimagine the TV experience for YouTube's global audience by transforming traditional TV concepts for today's audience
    • Analyze patterns (time of day, day of week, user activities) to define new YouTube dayparts and develop UX and Machine Learning (ML) powered recommendations that give users unprecedented control over their TV experience.
    • Partner with teams across YouTube to bring the diverse quality episodic content to YouTube's global audience.
    • Develop initiatives that position creators' shows, podcasts, and courses alongside established programming, giving viewers an selection of premium episodic entertainment.
    • Develop previews and instant on-ramps that eliminate barriers between discovery and playback, ensuring a seamless transition from browsing to watching. Collaborate with marketing in defining a sustainable TV playbook to amplify cultural moments on TV (e.g. Coachella, Olympics, Eurovision, etc).
