  • 2 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience in data infrastructure and designing critical data systems.
  • Experience in SQL and Python.

    In this role you are responsible for driving Google Cloud Compute growth by enabling optimal short and long-term investment decisions across the value chain (deals, product, business, engineering, infrastructure and supply chain).

    You will be focusing on establishing enterprise grade data platforms to ensure that product, engineering, finance and business analyst teams can track business performance in real time.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Own and set the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of Cloud Compute Economics Data Platform, balancing short- and long-term priorities against various business needs.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the end-user adoption and effectiveness of the Cloud Compute Economics Data Platform.
    • Develop effective partnerships with Compute Product areas (VMs, GPUs, TPUs, Block Storage) and understand their evolving needs for product and customer economics. Help understand and improve developer experiences, and thereby enable more productive use of the data platforms.
    • Understand and develop a view of customer and workload level economics, and data requirements.
