In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will make Gen AI development simpler, faster, and more effective by focusing on Google-wide solutions, including the foundation for reliable AI models and enabling efficient data sourcing, management, and enrichment. You will unlock insights and build AI solutions, ensuring safety, fairness, security, data governance, and adherence to other responsible AI principles.
Our goal is to create user-friendly, trustworthy, and privacy-preserving data and metadata solutions for AI products. This will not only help Google meet the tests of the changing AI landscape but will also be crucial for achieving Google's company-wide OKRs for significant advancements in artificial intelligence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand the requirements for Responsible AI principles, including model safety, fairness, privacy, and transparency. Design product roadmaps to ensure Responsible AI (RAI) evaluations are thorough, accurate, up-to-date, and widely adopted by assurance evaluation teams and red teams, providing insights into risks and potential mitigations for RAI issues.
  • Work cross-functionally to optimize the workflow to minimize delay in the product launch process while still accurately accessing Responsible AI (RAI) risks.
  • Develop reports that maximize insights and actionability, highlighting key areas of risk and their connection to mitigation strategies.
  • Lead collaboration with experts in Responsible AI to integrate technologies, such as zero-shot auto-raters and sentiment analysis techniques, into the evaluation process.
  • Grow a technical understanding AI infrastructure within ML, Systems, and Cloud AI (MSCA) and across Google's product areas, while keeping a pulse on market dynamics.
