Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of experience in engineering
  • Experience delivering security solutions
  • Experience in compute hardware architecture, data center infrastructure, and software design and implementation to maximize fleet performance and uptime
  • Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, UX, and UI, and brokering trade offs with stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline
  • Ability to promote product excellence and collaboration

    As a Principal Engineer for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), you will have a focus on delivering and operating a highly available, cost-optimized data center infrastructure at speed and scale by leveraging your technical expertise. In this capacity, you will support a variety of engineering leaders across multiple teams and locations. This role is critical to the support of new product launches through their lifecycle from planning, modeling, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$399,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Architect and design software engineering solutions supporting all facets of the DCIM ecosystem.
    • Apply first principles to deliver flexible, optimized, scalable, reliable, and secured software solutions.
    • Leverage AI/ML to deliver highly optimized and adaptive solutions.
    • Bring teams together to deliver complex and innovative software solutions in a timely manner.
