Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical leadership and setting technical direction for engineering projects.
- Experience in architecting, designing, and developing distributed systems.
- Experience developing and implementing technical programs in security and/or AI engineering or product/platform design.
- Leadership experience in the security, reliability and resilience space. Experience having impact over a large-scale of users.
- Experience leading and implementing engineering projects at an executive level within multinational and distributed organizations.

Responsibilities
- Create the reality of a stable, secure, and trustworthy integrated cloud AI platform for a diverse pool of customers and workloads worldwide.
- Balance feature velocity with reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with a wide and diverse array of teams working in the Cloud AI, Security, and Sovereign Workloads space to set the technical direction for AI, trust, and security.
- Challenge our approach and status quo to elevate our platform reliability, security, and resilience beyond our current capabilities.
- Contribute to our most complex technical projects and externally visible product decisions, using your technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and good judgment to help build scalable and future-proof Google systems.
