Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with communication/signaling protocols used in power engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using RTDS, OPAL-RT, or similar platforms.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facilities and their electrical infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience in protection and control engineering.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time.
- Experience using electrical transient analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD.
- Knowledge of communication/signaling protocols used in power engineering.
- Familiarity with utility-scale energy storage technologies, particularly Lithium-ion batteries.
- Ability to perform closed loop testing on protection and control systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with senior team members on creating future data center protection and control concepts.
- Work with execution and field testing teams to lead testing and commissioning efforts for power system protection.
- Create and maintain power system models to optimize existing architectures and help solve power quality and protection issues.
- Investigate renewable power generation, carbon free storage technologies, and find innovative and optimal ways to protect and control them.
