Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with coding in Java, Python or others coding languages with automation.
- Experience in modernizing legacy applications and applying cloud native development methodologies and tools, including container technology.
- Experience with modern software development life-cycle methodologies and tools including Integrated Development Environment (IDEs), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), container orchestration and operations.
- Experience with developing architectures using Application Programming Interface (API) management, microservices frameworks, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI.
- Ability to create prototypes/demos, and articulate this to a customer audience, while integrating with existing systems.
- Ability to engage with C-level or executive business leaders.

In this role, you will work within a technical Sales team as an 'Applied AI' subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud's AI capabilities to our customers. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud and our best of breed AI offerings, explaining technical features, especially in the domain of Application development and modernization using AI assistive capabilities. Through this process, you would be helping customers design architectures, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. In this role, externally you will work with our strategic partners and their customers and internally, will be working with a cross-functional team across Google product engineering, field sales and developer relations teams to drive the adoption of AI in Application innovation thereby accelerating time to value for our customers.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
- Work with the teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Specialize in Gemini Code Assist (GCA), with a focus on integrating GCA capabilities within existing cloud services to help partner development teams build, deploy, and operate applications faster and more efficiently throughout the software development life cycle.
- Provide expertise on GCA and build technical relationships with Google's strategic partners delivering product and solution briefings, proof-of-concepts, and partner directly with product management to prioritize capabilities impacting partners' adoption of Gemini Code Assistant.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
