Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in hardware operation program or project management.
- Experience working in consumer electronics environments.
- Experience in managing New product Introduction (NPI) programs for system level devices.
- Experience with vendor management, supply planning, cost control, quality/reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
- Experience in managing NPI life-cycles in consumer electronics, process documentation, and assembly and test processes.
- Experience in multiple consumer product launches in a production ramping environment or consumer electronics related products.
- Experience in vendor selection over emerging technologies.
- Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules and work with operations cross-functional teams.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the product development and engineering teams with the responsibility for driving operations and new product development as well as supporting those products through the initial production ramp.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional program teams and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions. Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
- Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget. Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
- Lead communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising issues and options for resolution with executive teams.
