Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.
- Experience in network operations and systematic troubleshooting.
- Experience with rack and stack, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of routers and other network equipment.
- Ability to code in Python or a similar programming language.

Responsibilities
- Respond to network outages by providing a diagnosis of Layer 1 to Layer 3 network errors and initiate and complete network repairs.
- Develop workflows and systems to diagnose optical Layer 1 and Layer 3 network issues to completion.
- Participate in 24/7 global team shift rotations.
- Provide remote support for field operations related to network repairs.
- Interface with high-level customers communicating repair status and updates as needed.
