  • About the job

In this role, you will provide media expertise and critical support to shape the future of a variety of key Google products. You will partner with product marketing managers on campaign strategy, tactical media plan reviews, and measurement recommendations. You will be working with cross-functional teams and contribute to determining positioning, naming, analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, and help shape the product and grow a consumer base. You will play a key role in oversight and coordination of all advertising leveraging Google's own advertising products and services and media platforms. Additionally, you will also play a key role in defining the process, ensuring sound management of digital advertising and agency management.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

    • Construct processes to ensure structured management of media campaigns across social, on-network and off-network media.
    • Provide programmatic thought leadership including innovation, assessments, external benchmarking and develop standards for digital advertising.
    • Define and implement a measurement construct for programs and review performance reporting outputs. Use data to uncover new media opportunities, audience insights and decisions.
    • Engage and lead our media agencies to ensure their day-to-day work is flawless and help them go beyond quick fixes to long-term forward thinking solutions. Enable and ensure our media agencies stay up-to-date on the latest ads solutions including new features on Google Ads.
