Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing a technical customer-facing team in a cloud computing environment in the field of AI.
  • Experience with the application of AI solutions in contact centers and customer engagement.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience.
  • Ability to mix technical experience with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable, useful, and demonstrates business and technical value to customers.

As an Applied AI CE Manager, you will leverage your experience and thought leadership in the field of AI, Customer Engagement, and Contact Centers, to lead a team of Customer Engineers in business-generating activities, working with the broader Google Cloud AI team, our customers and partners. You will leverage your expertise in Customer Engagement AI and Contact Center AI. You will guide your team in utilizing Google Cloud's Customer Engagement Suite technologies, which include Contact Center AI and related Customer Engagement AI Services. You will partner with AI-native companies and large enterprises, providing consultative guidance with your team.

In this role, you will help customers translate their business needs and technical environment to AI solution requirements, demonstrate product value to customers, help ensure partners are enabled on the latest technology, and work with the product and engineering teams to ensure field readiness and influence roadmap. You will also be responsible for the EMEA Applied AI technical community, and work closely with the broader AI technical and sales teams to develop the go-to-market strategy and plans. You will build relationships with other Google teams and with external customer stakeholders, identifying innovative ways to scale the impact of the team as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and nurture a team to engage with AI Natives and large enterprise customers on AI-driven transformation journey.
  • Collaborate with customers, demonstrate business value from the Google Cloud Applied AI products, prove technical viability, and create a path to business.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with technical leaders at customers, and lead customer conversations at leadership and executive level.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Applied AI product and engineering team and the Applied AI sales team, to prioritize customer needs, and bring new product innovations to customers and with the Google Applied AI Sales leaders to prioritize and plan customer activities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI news and innovations, as well as engaged offerings, so as to lead by example and be a trusted AI advisor to customers.
