Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience performing services focused on translating retailer needs into cloud solutions.
  • Experience in the retail industry, developing cloud solutions.
  • Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, contact center AI, or pattern recognition.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in a programming language (e.g., R, Java or Python) and applied machine learning techniques (e.g., dimensionality reduction strategies, classification, natural language processing frameworks).
  • Experience in systems design with the ability to architect and explain data analytics pipelines, data flows, and Machine Learning Operation platforms.

    As an Industry Solution Lead, you will work directly with Google Cloud's most strategic customers in the retail industry on projects that transform business. You will work with Google Cloud Consulting and Sales team, as well as Product and Engineering teams dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions to foster innovation. In partnership with these teams, and with Strategic Partners, you will promote, scope and oversee the implementation of Google Cloud's priority AI Industry Solutions. You will apply management, industry-specific consulting expertise, and technical skills to customer engagements while working with Google's clients' executives and key technical leaders to operationalize Google Cloud Industry Solutions for our customers.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Provide deep expertise in AI Solutions and advocate these solutions among Google's customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Lead the scoping and technical delivery of complex AI Industry Solution engagements covering program assurance, removing roadblocks, and validation, while driving exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Work with Sales, Product and Engineering teams to develop AI Industry Solution delivery strategies and methodologies. Consolidate lessons learned into a curated knowledge base to support global scaling of Industry Solutions.
    • Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
    • Travel approximately 20% of the time, as needed for client engagements.
