  • Experience managing partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Sharp strategy acumen with experience in using analytical insight to solve problems and communicate solutions.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent people and communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial, and other points with partners as well as internal Google teams.

    Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

    The Knowledge and Information Partnerships team is responsible for discussing and managing partnerships that help build, differentiate, and scale Google's products across Search, Assistant, Social Impact, Geo, Commerce, Research, and Core.

    Within Commerce, the Shopping Partnerships team enables product experiences and accelerates innovation through transformative retailer, platform, and content partnerships that improve the shopping experience.

    As Head of Shopping Partnerships, you will lead the EMEA Shopping Partnerships team to enable shopping partnerships with regional and global impact. You will manage and motivate a diverse and business development team to execute ambitious goals, and use an analytical approach to develop and run a business.

    You will work closely with product/engineering, sales, legal and cross-functional teams to identify, scope, and execute first-of-kind integration partnerships to enable Shopping's emerging merchant and consumer-facing capabilities. In doing so, you will develop and maintain a network of relationships with key players in the EMEA retail ecosystem. As lead for the EMEA region, you will develop a deep understanding of country-level product needs and represent these internally with cross-functional leadership.

    The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of talented Strategic Partnerships Development Managers, distributing and prioritizing workflow and executing against product goals.
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to establish our EMEA shopping strategy and feature prioritization.
    • Drive presentations and recommendations to leadership around key business performance indicators, regional dynamics and strategy.
    • Discuss first of kind agreements, collaborating with key cross-functional stakeholders to structure and execute agreements.
    • Collaborate with a broad cross-functional team to develop responses to challenges and opportunities in the EMEA shopping space.
