Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- 5 years of experience leading teams in a technical customer-facing role within Sales Engineering as a manager or manager of managers.
- Experience with selling the Data Analytics technology stack.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Experience engaging and influencing executive stakeholders at C-level as a business advisor and thought leader in Data Analytics. Own C-level relationships with customers. Manage teams focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.
- Leadership experience in scaling sales engineering organizations, including experience in new market builds.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Cloud DA offerings. Experience working with product teams and an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.

As a Head of Data Analytics Customer Engineering (CE), Industries Regions, you lead customer engineering teams and deploy a team of subject matter experts responsible for working alongside our customers to provide trusted technical and solution advice to accelerate workload migration and remove technical impediments.
You will work cross-functionally to resolve technical roadblocks including capacity needs, constraints and product challenges affecting customer satisfaction. You will create alignment across multiple functions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead a fast-paced team of specialized Customer Engineering (CE) Managers to build an inclusive and thriving growth culture. Focus on talent strategy and skills development to deliver on successful cloud transformation outcomes.
- Foster strong partnerships with key customers across the book of business. Provide leadership related to cloud, transformation and relevant industry trends related to Data Analytics.Be a key contributor to the Data Analytics go-to-market North America Customer Engineering leadership team.
- Partner with Google Cloud business leadership to define the technical go-to-market strategy and execution plan for the team's book of business. Determine alignment, coverage and staffing needs across business opportunities.
- Lead workload and opportunity review meetings with sales and CE teams, and achieve a technical agreement and migration strategy, working directly with our customers, partners, and prospects.
