Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in sales operations, sales planning, and policies and processes such as business cycles, forecasting, sales compensation, contracting, and order booking.
  • Experience with leading large-scale programs or projects with global cross-functional teams in an organizations.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires daily communication with global teams in English.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience engaging with executive stakeholders, as a trusted advisor providing integration guidance.
  • Knowledge of Order to Cash processes (e.g., provisioning, reporting, invoicing, and credit or collections).
  • Excellent business acumen, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and lead or influence cross-functional teams to achieve integration goals.
  • Excellent investigative and problem solving skills.

About the job

As part of the Google Cloud Go-to-Market team, you will work closely and collaboratively with the Google Corporate Development team and other Google Cloud functions leading integration of acquired teams and products to drive strategic growth for Google Cloud. You will ask thoughtful questions and be capable of thinking through integration strategies, cost/benefit trade-offs, risk mitigation, and managing all aspects of integration execution.
The Go-To-Market (GTM) Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team is responsible for due diligence, integration planning, and integration execution for business, Partners and Channels, and Professional Services organisations and works across all GTM functions including Marketing, Support, Change Management, Enablement, Commercial Operations, and Business Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with due diligence leads to understand goals acquired company GTM strategy, key business value drivers, and integration risks to develop integration planning strategy.
  • Plan and lead GTM M&A integration by setting up governance structure, measure and report on integration outcome, and drive alignment amongst cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and project manage all elements of business or Professional Services operational integration including lead to order and project admin to close policy and process alignment; ensure systems integration aligns with go-forward operational needs and priorities.
  • Plan and implement transitions of acquired company business or Professional Services employees into Google Cloud.
