Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Operation, Business Operations, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in a supply chain field.
  • Experience with demand planning software, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
  • Experience working in a technology, manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Experience with vendor negotiations/management in a high technology environment.
  • Experience with SAP/similar ERP system.

The Business Operations Supply Chain practice is responsible for forecasting, supply planning, order Management, logistics, distribution, warehousing, inventory management and asset repair and retirement services for Googler hardware including Personal Compute Technology and Audio Visual equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Optimize inventory levels by balancing inventory costs against the risk of stockouts, ensuring product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Analyze demand trends and seasonality implemented through SAP's Integrated Business Planning tools in order to streamline processes, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance visibility.
  • Support global transportation management reviewing rates, carrier mix to optimize logistics network, ensure efficient, optimal and timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers by building strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Drive Supply Chain continuous improvement opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
