Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Experience in semiconductor or passive categories as a commodity manager
  • Experience in negotiating agreements and supplier development.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in sourcing semiconductor or passive components.
  • Managing capacitors, Inductors and magnetic technologies.
  • Experience working with NPI and Contract Manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term sourcing strategies for semiconductors and passive commodities. Develop and manage master purchase agreements with suppliers.
  • Lead the supplier operational team to achieve optimal manufacturing lead time and efficient supply chain. Define manufacturing key stages, bottle-necks, and develop/monitor metrics for capacity model analysis.
  • Manage suppliers for design capability, technology alignment, cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Interface with Engineering for early engagement.
  • Organize supplier audits for the process readiness and quality.
