  • Effective people, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Our team is ideal for a motivated problem solver passionate about building scalable and reliable client systems that benefit both developers and creators.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the web client infrastructure that powers our platform and serves more than 50 teams. This includes creating or adopting new frameworks and APIs with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience for developers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable solutions to common technical problems faced by YouTube Studio developers, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Identify and resolve release, compilation and performance issues of the web client application, independently planning and executing your work.
  • Support and collaborate with the growing Studio developer community.
  • Develop working relationships with the YouTube Web Architecture team in San Bruno.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices.
