Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a sales, partner or channel manager role.
  • 4 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience developing Cloud or IT solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently at business level as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience promoting cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software across multiple industries.
  • Experience acquiring new logos at scale and securing the foundational workloads to accelerate consumption business.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to balance engaged priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects with minimal direction in a fluid environment.
  • Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead prospecting and acquisition of new logos, creating and building customer relationships from scratch, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on their long-term technology and business decisions
    • Become an expert on the customers business, technology strategy, growth plans, business drivers, financial structure, customer base, vertical market offering, and engaged landscape.
    • Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within enterprise customers.
    • Manage complex business-cycles, presenting to C-level executives and negotiating terms.
    • Drive business development, own operational excellence at scale, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business-cycle.
