Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience developing Cloud or IT solutions.
  • Experience building account planning.

  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as it is a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in field sales in the technology industry, working with large enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Experience collaborating with partners.
  • Ability to balance engaged priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.

You will help achieve strategic business goals within the Japan market. You will be responsible for building account strategies, opportunity plans, and managing the execution of complex engagements. You will also work with cross-functional teams including Partners, Product Sales groups, and Product Management to accelerate opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Generate and qualify leads and business opportunities. Plan and implement the channel promotion program.
    • Qualify and assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment, articulate key differentiators and typical customer buying journeys, and generally display a passion for computer science and Cloud.
    • Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all business/adoption-related activities, including the development of strategic agreements.
    • Represent Google at trade shows and industry events.
