Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in facility maintenance or related field.
  • Experience with Reverse Osmosis Deionized Water (RODI), Processed Cooling Water (PCW), and Liquid Nitrogen systems (LN2).
  • Experience with HVAC and Compressed Dry Air systems (CDA).
  • Experience with gas distribution systems, including installing gas cylinders and chemical handling.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or Trade/Technical School Certificate.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Experience with using Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) and Building Management System (BMS).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems, plan and execute individual tasks and support team efforts related to installation, modification, maintenance and repair of cleanroom and support equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

Be part of the team developing Raxium's groundbreaking microLED technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Equipment Technician to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This critical role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from performing preventative and reactive maintenance to complex troubleshooting, equipment installations, and driving continuous improvements. You will work cross-functionally, supporting a broad range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex problems, effectively manage individual tasks, and contribute to team projects focused on installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing cleanroom and facility support equipment.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Maintain critical support equipment.
  • Perform general, routine, and corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Perform Electro/Mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Perform chemical and material handling tasks, including changing gas cylinders.
  • Support equipment and facility engineering department as needed to improve equipment performance.
