Enterprise Information Architecture Lead, Enterprise Data and Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Data Management as a Data Architect or Data Engineering leader.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with advanced analytics solutions involving machine learning and statistical analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive information architecture best practices to meet the enterprise data, analytic needs of Googlers, while elevating the overall data maturity of Google's Enterprise Data.
  • Define the data architecture framework, standards, and principles including modeling, metadata, security, reference data.
  • Design and implement data models to promote connectivity and reuse of enterprise data concepts.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to devise and implement data strategies, build models, and assess shareholder needs and goals.
  • Partner with internal teams to gain a rich understanding of business processes and data maturity for their functions as well as influence building their data ontologies.
