Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google Cloud's services-both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems-have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer's needs and a fast rate of improvement. Additionally SRE's will keep an ever-watchful eye on our systems capacity and performance.

Much of our software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation. Enterprise Applications (EntApps) Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is part of the Google Cloud organization and provides SRE capabilities for critical Enterprise ecosystem operated by corporate engineering.

In this role, you will transform enterprise services driving engineering and adoption of standardized solutions and platforms through strategic SRE partner engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and create organizational structure of tech leads and engineers.
  
• Own the SRE engagement for our corporate engineering development partners, inclusive of roadmap, and future strategic engagement opportunities.
  
• Collaborate with the SRE team to support corporate engineering services and work with business partners in the United States and India.
  
• Review technical solutions and roadmaps in alignment with partners.
  
• Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, and standards.
