  • Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, social media management tools, and video editing and digital production tools.
  • Knowledge and interest in YouTube products and policies, including YouTube creators, artists, and culture.

    In this role, you'll help us share news, information, and events with creators, fans, consumers, and media on our owned and operated channels. As part of the Editorial Team, you'll work with editors, writers, videographers, and social media specialists to manage projects and craft processes that help us increase our reach and impact across video and social.

    It's our job to help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values, and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. To succeed here, you'll combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees. Things happen quickly at Google and to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally and isn't hesitant to take risks or try new things.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Manage operations for YouTube's official editorial team, including inbound video and social requests, editorial calendars, and content publishing.
    • Support production of video, visual, social, and multimedia content-across all editorial platforms. This includes budget and agency management, organizing editorial calendars, shepherding translations and approvals, planning video production and post-production logistics, and ensuring overall on-schedule delivery of video and social assets.
    • Partner effectively with editorial, creative, and social colleagues on the team, as well as other departments at Google and YouTube, marketing, and executives to align on editorial priorities.
    • Develop and execute creative content for YouTube's editorial team, using data to inform strategy and direction.
    • Coordinate with internal teams on publishing, social, and marketing strategies to maximize reach.
