Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL).
- 2 years of experience managing analytical projects (e.g., translate business questions into analytical hypotheses, retrieve and analyse data, or synthesize answers and recommendations).
- 3 years of experience in machine learning projects using data sets.
- 3 years of experience using a language for statistical computing (e.g., Python, R, etc.).
- Ability to communicate technical findings with clarity to a non-technical audience of business stakeholders.

As a Data Scientist, you will provide quantitative analysis and a strategic perspective to partners throughout the organization. You will build stories with insights from data, and make key recommendations for Product Management, Engineering, Business Development and Strategy. You will work to turn business questions into data analysis, and provide meaningful recommendations on strategy.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Write queries and perform analysis to answer business questions (e.g., SQL, R, Python), and structure high-level business questions into data-focused analytical hypotheses.
- Develop and automate reports, build dashboards to provide insights at scale, and solve for business priorities.
- Apply Large Language and other Machine Learning models to analyze structured and unstructured data (e.g., natural language processing).
- Generate insights from user sentiment and behavior to recommend product improvements and strategy, protect teams against overreaching statistical conclusions (e.g., sampling, correlation/causation).
- Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
