Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in customer facing role.
  • 2 years of experience in data and information management as it relates to Big Data or Streaming Data Pipeline.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Hadoop/Spark ecosystem, BigQuery, Athena, Snowflake.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Japanese in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, other technical fields or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience as a data engineer, database architect or database administrator who conducts data platform requirements analysis and stakeholder management.

Experience in growth marketing related roles in SaaS, Independent Software Vendor (ISV), or consumer application industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage technical relationships with digital native customers regarding data platforms. Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
    • Share data analytics and data engineering knowledge to support technical relationships with customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
    • Influence the digital native industry's technical decision-making through storytelling to evolve data platform architectures and growth marketing strategieswith Google Cloud.
    • Drive data analytics solutions consumption with technical wins to solve customer's pain points by collaborating with data platform partners and data analytics partners.
    • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
