Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in forecasting and demand planning.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience forecasting in tools, ideally Anaplan, or building analyses and data visualizations in spreadsheets, Tableau, or SQL.

    The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

    In this role, you will support Google first-party hardware products which includes Pixel phones and ecosystem, Nest Smart Home devices, and Fitbit fitness trackers.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the sales team and demand planning team to evaluate weekly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts.
    • Analyze sales performance versus the demand forecast to understand the root causes for over or under performance. Evaluate risks and opportunities and communicate clear and concise business performance updates.
    • Own the weekly performance review calls with the countries, lead the monthly forecast consensus review, and communicate the forecast Code of Conduct (CoC) changes and variances to target.
    • Model and align long-term and lifetime scenarios with country leads, category lead, and country analyst. Lead the country level annual planning cycle in partnership with regional sales operations.
    • Analyze, understand, interpret, and visualize sales performance and changing market trends for presenting out actionable insights to internal management and regional counterparts.
