Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Compensation, Consulting or related work experience.
  • Experience with statistical and spreadsheet software.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with sales compensation.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly.
  • Interest in analyzing data, with the ability to drive decision-making.

You are comfortable managing several projects at once, and help key decision makers make sound choices by analyzing data and working on critical issues.

The India Compensation and Benefits team manages the delivery of Google's compensation programs to attract and retain talent across international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other compensation analysts, People Partners, and Recruiting teams to provide guidance on compensation related business problems.
  • Manage data sets and convey findings to leadership.
  • Participate in the research, development, and administration of assigned compensation programs, monitor program success, and play a role in the review of compensation policies.
  • Work on special projects such as market data benchmarking, pay-for-performance analyses, and compensation business reviews.
