Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery.
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
- 2 years of experience in client-facing roles, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with engineering/sales teams/customers.
- Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Customer facing cloud migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.

As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will also provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring that customers receive the best GCP and have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.

Responsibilities
- Work with customer technical leads, client managers, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of cloud migration projects becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
- Work with GCP specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into solutions and published assets.
- Interact with Google Cloud sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage migration scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful migrations.
- Provide solutions and perform the deployment of cloud based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
