As a Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will also provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring that customers receive the best GCP and have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer technical leads, client managers, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of cloud migration projects becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
  
• Work with GCP specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into solutions and published assets.
  
• Interact with Google Cloud sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage migration scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful migrations.
  
• Provide solutions and perform the deployment of cloud based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
