Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in building financial dashboards and visualizing data.
  • Experience with SAP, Reporting and Business Recognition Systems.
  • Experience in public accounting or project managing internal and external audits for large, multinational organizations with complex business recognition processes.
  • Passion for leveraging data analytics to drive insights.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels including peers, managers and various teams.
  • Excellent SQL, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process for Cloud Controllership, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of business and expenses to key stakeholders. Strategically expand and enhance business reporting capabilities to seamlessly integrate and accommodate incremental parts of Google Cloud as the business evolves.
  • Develop insightful financial dashboards and reports that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and providing valuable insights to management.
