Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
- Experience working with technology companies, on real estate and construction projects.
- Experience with project management and effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to be action-oriented and seek to meet the high standards of integrity.

As Associate Corporate Counsel, you work on the most exciting legal issues as disruptive technological innovations require creative and proactive legal guidance. As an integrated part of the team, you proactively assess legal risks and advise on real estate and construction projects that are mission critical to the development of Google's global infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including land acquisitions and dispositions, leasing matters and related land use and zoning issues.
- Play a key role in working with our Data Center Delivery teams to advise on agreement structures for construction projects and support with the preparation and negotiation of all types of construction contracts.
- Engage and manage outside counsel on real estate and construction matters around the globe.
- Develop an understanding of Google's Global Infrastructure, products and business objectives, enabling you to provide effective and practical legal solutions.
- Collaborate with Googlers across different regions, functions and levels, contributing to a legal team.
