Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Business Strategy, Management Consulting, or Program Management, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Analytical experience with spreadsheet analysis, presentations or data management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience structuring strategy for business organizations, and in management consulting or working within internal strategy teams.
  • Understanding of the partner and market landscape for Platforms & Devices products.
  • Familiarity with key products/business including mobile devices, OEMs, Telcos, and AI.
  • Familiarity with Android.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Platforms & Devices (P&D) Partnerships Strategy & Operations (S&O) team creates and drives cohesive business strategy across the suite of P&D products: Android, Play, ChromeOS, Photos, Privacy Sandbox, and more. We deeply understand the partner ecosystem and markets in which these products operate, and apply structured analysis and reasoning to help develop and execute strategy. We also drive thought leadership across our products and markets to inform strategic decisions across the P&D and broader Global Partnerships (GP) leadership teams. We partner closely across key stakeholders in Business Development (BD), Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and the broader Partnerships/Go-to-Market organizations to drive scaled impact for our business and product partners.

This role presents a great opportunity to drive our business strategy on scaled and emerging products within P&D at Google. You'll have the opportunity to work at the edge of product and business innovation across Android OEM ecosystem. You'll also have the opportunity to partner with and learn from incredible BD leaders. Finally, you'll have the chance to work with an amazing, thoughtful S&O team within the P&D Partnerships Strategy organization.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial/business strategy and operations for the Android OEM and Technology teams within P&D Partnerships.
  • Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver on our business objectives and contribute to Android growth and engagement.
  • Run end-to-end initiatives supporting key business objectives including new technologies and features, premium device adoption, device longevity.
  • Support BD Leads as CoS covering key team initiatives including team strategy, executive communications, team meetings, and offsites.
  • Serve as a thought leadership and strategic partner to P&D leadership to inform critical decisions, risks, and opportunities.
