Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 2 years of experience in media/marketing analytics, strategy consulting, financial analysis, or equivalent analytical position.
  • Experience in data analysis (e.g., CBx, QLMs) and visualization (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides), scripting (e.g. SQL), and dashboard development (e.g. Looker Studio).
  • Experience translating data into automated narratives and business recommendations.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, or statistical analysis.

  • Experience and ability to work closely with sales and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.
  • Experience working as an Analytical Consultant or similar analytical, data-focused role.
  • Ability to take initiative and excellent strategic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with effective time-management and prioritization skills.

    The Insights and Analytics team within the Retail sector supports some of the largest retailers in Europe in achieving their business and marketing goals by providing them with data-driven bases for decision-making. In this role, you'll partner closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and support the transformation and shifts required to be successful in an ever changing market environment.

    Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive data analyses based on complex, large data sets for key customers to uncover hidden opportunities to optimize their online advertising investments.
    • Consult with clients, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations that align with their business goals. Deliver industry POVs and insights collections that help position Google as a thought leader and support sales team strategies.
    • Scale ideas and impactful narratives by streamlining processes and developing templates, dashboards, and scripts together with gCare Insights. Develop compelling narratives to deliver insights at scale for a wider customer base.
    • Empower clients and partners by delivering commercial insights via custom analyses and reports and creating internal dashboards and automated reports to democratize insights. Deliver training and guidance on using Google's data tools and APIs.
    • Work seamlessly with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes for clients.
