Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.
- 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools including deep learning, neural networks, and Generative AI.
- 5 years of experience in an external facing role or equivalent experience through community or open source contributions.
- Experience speaking at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles with an existing follower base, or contributing to an open source project.
- Experience with testing, designing and influencing software launches.

In this role, you will work on products including Google AI Studio and the Gemini API, Gemma open models, Imagen, Veo, Google Colaboratory, Kaggle, and more. You will be the interface between Google and our developer community, being their advocate, understanding their needs, solving their questions, speaking at conferences, participating at hackathons and engagements, creating amazing demos, and contributing to Software Development Kit and frameworks. You will partner with product and engineering to bring cutting edge AI techniques to developers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a vibrant community of developers around Google's Gemini API and Google AI Studio, Gemma, Google Colaboratory, and Kaggle. Speak at conferences (e.g., Google I/O, and Cloud Next, developer events), and run hackathons to explore new use-cases for AI.
- Identify and solve points of friction in the developer experience. Bring developer feedback to product and engineering teams, advocate for the needs of users.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ship new models and features. Ensure a quality developer experience across Software Development Kit(e.g., documentation). Communicate new AI techniques to developers.
- Create and teach online courses and create code examples and inspiring demos.
- Author blog posts and create videos to help developers succeed.
