Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience with digital marketing or advertising.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.

    The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow medium and large-sized fast growing businesses in Italy. Through long-term relationship development, we're dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

    MMS Account Strategists are sellers who serve as advocates of Google. Using a deep understanding of clients' business goals, Account Strategists improve campaign performance, drive thoughtful Google product adoption, and build short- and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. In this role, you will design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.Oversee stakeholder management and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
    • Own a portfolio of medium- and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
    • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing goals. Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
    • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.

    • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
