Your Impact

Your role as lead in the Platform Enablement team presents a fantastic opportunity to establish a Microsoft Power capability in Goldman Sachs Asset and Wealth Management. We are seeking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled Microsoft Power platform lead with a technical background and know-how of Microsoft's Power suite - specifically Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps. This individual should possess a deep understanding of Microsoft's Power offering, integration with other Microsoft and third-party vendor products. You will use your Power Platform knowledge to enable the migration of GSAM BV Power resources to Goldman Sachs' Power Platform. You will be part of a team that enables the application developments teams to onboard their Power resources onto the Goldman Sachs Power Platform by developing migration patterns and providing hands-on assistance to application development teams. This requires you to frequently switch between operating on a deep technical level with both global and local Goldman Sachs engineers, as well as guiding senior stakeholders in risk assessment, technical problem solving and decision making. In all discussions you bring technical expertise and provide direction on practical solutions to ensure timelines are met. In this role you will serve internal stakeholders within the AWM division.

The team is located in The Hague, The Netherlands and consists of approximately 12 platform engineers working on several other platform services and directly interfacing with local applications development teams and other platform teams in London, New York, Dallas and San Francisco.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Participate in the design, development, testing and roll out Power Platform in Goldman Sachs and adoption in our division
  • Work closely with business users and other developers globally

Skills and experience we are looking for

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Solid, (past) hands-on experience building and managing Microsoft Power Platform resources - specifically Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Experience with Snowflake and AWS Data warehouse services is preferred
  • Real-world experience in deploying Business Intelligence (BI) projects, data warehousing and ETL
  • Experience in creating reports, dashboards, datasets and working with large variety of data sources in Power BI
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Testing
  • Security & compliance awareness - experience in operating in a highly controlled regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation in English
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal ability, with an ability to present complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical senior audiences
  • Understanding of and experience with working in a highly regulated financial environment is desired
