Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysing online performance - from prospects' interactions with digital marketing assets to customers' web journeys across our websites and app - and generating insights that optimise commercial results and enhance our customers' experience
  • Maximise the efficiency of our sales funnel & media spend and improve our understanding of our how customers interact with our products
  • Working with Product & Marketing teams, define and own the product success metrics and OKRs, and ensure that product launches, changes and new features are accurately measured and optimised
  • Track and report on agreed customer and business KPIs as well as the creation of a prioritised long-term performance roadmap of initiatives that drive improvements in the KPIs
  • Work with external vendors to track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making recommendations to improve conversion at each step of the sales journey
  • Identify problems and opportunities with customers' experience of our digital platforms and mobilise resource to resolve
  • Oversee the implementation & configuration of our cookie consent and other tracking technology tools to provide regular reporting
  • Share knowledge and insights across the wider business. Drive an adoption of the available tools with key stakeholders, acting as SME to help users build competency and self-serve
  • Collaborate with MI & Forecasting team to align on a common set of customer and performance metrics

Skills

  • Experienced in web analytics roles and able to demonstrate past success and impact, with outstanding analytical skills to interpret data from multiple sources to identify, prioritise and communicate opportunities
  • Comprehensive hands-on performance marketing experience (channels to include PPC, SEO, Social Media, Digital PR, Email, Affiliate marketing) to enable easily digestible mapping of campaign performance
  • Strong collaborator, able to balance customer and business performance outcomes
  • Ability to present performance data in compelling ways that inspire others to take action
  • Deep understanding of how the data for reports is sourced and aggregated
  • Technical knowledge of analytics platforms including tag management solutions
  • Flexible and comfortable using a range of tools and techniques
  • Clear communicator, confident to present recommendations to all levels of stakeholders

Basic Qualifications / Experience

  • Expert user of Adobe Marketing & Analytics tools
  • Excel and MS Office applications
  • 3-5 years' experience of web analytics and optimisation, including data visualization tools (eg Tableau) in an online, retail, direct to consumer environment

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in financial services
  • Some experience of AEM and ACM desirable
  • Working with marketing teams / external agencies on campaign & channel analysis including attribution
