The Compensation team drives the development and implementation of our compensation philosophy, policies, and practices around the world, supporting our best efforts to attract and retain the best talent available. This function requires liaising with Asset and Wealth Management business as well as other functions like Controllers, Legal, and Tax and will also involve partnering with other HCM functions, including HCM Business Partners, Employee Relations, Executive Compensation, Equity Compensation, and Global Mobility Services.
JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work with a dynamic, fast-paced team to provide insights and analytics on a variety of HCM data for Business Partners, Divisional Management, Chief Operating Officer and Finance teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Business Partners globally to deliver people and talent management processes required to support and enable divisional business strategy
- Facilitating and driving key annual processes including Year-End Compensation, reporting and analytics across talent processes including but not limited to Headcount Analytics/Attrition Reporting, Performance Management, Promotions, Leadership Pipeline & Succession Planning, and Employee Data Management
- Organizing, governing, and analyzing large datasets, interpreting results and presenting meaningful business insights to various stakeholders including the Global Business Partners, Global Markets Divisional COOs and Divisional Leadership Teams
- Participate in designing and executing ad-hoc analyses, presentations and updates for Divisional Management and Senior Divisional Leadership on talent management initiatives
- Engage with the Business Partner team to identify continuous improvement and automation opportunities, drive process change, and create efficiencies across the function
- Driving the customization of reporting structures by partnering with our Insights and Analytics teams and Business Intelligence teams using Tableau and Business Objects
- Engaging with global team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership to understand their business priorities, and advise, conceptualize and develop new analytical platforms to support them
- Participating in quality control, data governance, system re-engineering, functional and technical advisory to support internal systems/tools
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent analytical skills: Analytical mindset with an ability to organize and analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and present results to various audiences, and take responsibility for data quality assurance
- Technical skills: Strong familiarity with advanced Excel skills such as vlookups, pivot tables, and multiple variable formulas
- Data skills: Proficient in Business Intelligence, and other tools including Tableau and Business Objects
- Project Management: Ability to drive multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
- Strong client interfacing skills: Demonstrated client service focus, and ability to build relationships successfully
- Ability to work in a geographically diverse team and build strong relationships across locations and regions
- Attention to detail: Highly organized with excellent follow-through, and end-to-end delivery
- Strong drive to proactively obtain role-specific knowledge and demonstrate innate curiosity
- High level of maturity, demonstrated ability to manage confidential information, and impeccable judgment
- Ability to work well independently and in a geographically diverse team; build strong relationships across locations and regions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or Human Resources
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in compensation, analytics, data management or project management
- Familiarity with Human Capital Management concepts and data, including broad familiarity with talent processes (feedback, promotions, performance, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients; balances competing deadlines effectively
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-through required
- Ability to work with Excel on a day-to-day basis including vLookups, Pivot Tables, and other advanced formulas.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced, and global team environment

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
