Objectives of this role

  • To build self-organized and self-managed teams to deliver value efficiently
  • Coaches good agile practices and values with attention on continuous improvement within program and organization
  • Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.

Your tasks

  • Facilitate Agile & Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, retros, PI Planning.
  • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
  • Promotes self-organization, self-management and continuous improvement
  • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
  • Drives delivery discipline and release management practices
  • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
  • Accountable for providing transparency into value delivery using program level data
  • Manages dependencies
  • Manages stakeholders
  • Mediates scope challenges (supports Product Owner and Product Manager where scope conflicts arise) - Definition of ready and done
  • Works with the Product Manager/Product Owner to build a product roadmap and a prioritized product backlog.
  • Negotiates conflict (internally & externally) in implementation of Scrum and delivery within the program and organization
  • Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required skills and qualifications

  • BA/BS with specialization in Program Management or Project Management
  • Prior experience of 5-7 years in the areas of Program Management or Product Management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
  • Hands on with Jira
  • Good to have
    • Familiarity with the Working backwards process
    • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
    • SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
