Who We Are
The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team's mission is to support the firm's 'One Goldman Sachs' forward strategy by proactively identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting key third party risks in order to enable and challenge the business's risk-based decision making processes. The Life Cycle Management Team is an important pillar of TPRM that contributes to the TPRM business process designed as part of the third party lifecycle and act as primary point of contact for business stakeholders helping them understand and deliver on the firms third party risk framework.
The role is located in Bengaluru as part of the first line of defense, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team within the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer. You will be at the forefront of managing TPRM Busines processes, driving efficiency building inititiatives to streamline/automate the current processes and engage with business stakeholders to ensure program compliance through reporting and escalation. You will work closely with internal functions within TPRM like the Program Compliance and Control Assurance (PCCA), Quality assurance(QA), Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR), Tooling and Risk Management.

This role will initially focus on a key program compliance requirements to be actioned by TPRM and business. Post this, the role would also include being the early adopter of the risk and control frameworks developed as part of the transformation project. The TPRM LCM professional will also be responsible for leading certain strategic projects and supporting the delivery of key initiatives. By performing the role the candidate will acquire detailed knowledge of multiple operational risk management areas within the firm.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 4 years experience in a risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program design function
- Possess a strong risk management and control mindset linked with ability to support the delivery of commercial outcomes
- Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required
- Analytical thinker, able to quickly assess situations, prioritize and multi-task; Strong problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Confident candidate who is enthusiastic and a team player
- Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with global colleagues
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization
- Exemplary attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Drive, motivation and resilience - ability to handle multiple tasks, taking initiative to improve his / her own performance, working intensely towards goals and persisting in the face of obstacles or setbacks

- An understanding of Goldman Sachs business structures and processes (i.e., ability to "navigate GS")
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Certification on any Business Intelligence/Automation tools (eg: Alteryx)
- Certification on Risk Management
