YOUR IMPACT
The Management and Strategy team within the Client Solutions Group (CSG) is responsible for leading the execution of key strategic initiatives within the sales organization, working with stakeholders across sales, investing, and our operating platform.
The team oversees our progress toward our financial and non-financial goals; works directly with leadership to execute on our operating initiatives and projects growth plans for the business; and sets the talent management philosophy of the team. In addition to working with leadership in the Client Solutions Group, the team partners closely with AWM Leadership, Investing, Operations and Engineering, the Executive Office, Legal and Compliance, and HCM. The team's success is ultimately measured on our ability to metric our teams, evaluate the efficacy of our initiatives, create and lead programs that drive incremental commercial progress, and give our people the tools they can leverage to succeed with our clients and in their careers.
ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Asset Management Client Solutions Group (CSG) Management & Strategy team. The Management & Strategy team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives across CSG and Asset Management that advance our client priorities and contribute to the execution of the broader AWM strategy. In this role, you will work on various initiatives that serve as the building blocks for the client engagement strategy for the Asset Management business. This role involves developing the overall strategy, executing a plan in line with your strategic vision, and proactively suggesting enhancements to better capture mind share and wallet share with our clients in Asset Management. This will entail closely collaborating with CSG colleagues across channels, geographies, and levels of seniority. You will partner with CSG senior leaders and their teams as well as with other key teams within the firm, including the Executive Office and Office of Alumni Engagement. CSG is seeking an Associate to join its team in New York for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the day to day coverage for critical strategic initiatives and developing external and internal engagement strategies for CSG leadership
- Develop, implement, and advance client engagement strategy for the Client Solutions Group and our Partner leadership group
- Engage directly with senior leaders across the CSG business
- Manage the Client Review series to help CSG leadership identify opportunities to further strengthen relationships with significant clients, defend against outflows, and advance our strategic priorities
- Manage projects that enable AWM senior leadership to stay better informed about key week-to-week developments within the CSG business
- Lead and manage the relationship between CSG and the Executive Office, focusing on David Solomon's and John Waldron's strategic engagement with CSG clients
- Develop and execute CSG's presence and footprint related to client engagement at key firmwide events
- Partner with the Office of Alumni engagement, Executive Office Marketing, and other key firmwide teams on select efforts related to enhancing CSG client engagement
- Support the CSG Management team on efforts that enhance CSG's operating initiatives and growth plans
- Work closely with members of the CSG team across channels and geographies on projects to better understand, build, and implement CSG business strategy
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of prior work experience
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of intellectual curiosity on the industry, our clients and our competitors
- Collaborative team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior client or Executive Office experience is an asset
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
