As primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals.
Global Fixed Income
We use fundamental and quantitative analyses to generate micro and macro insights and combine these with thoughtful portfolio construction and rigorous risk management to achieve client outcomes. The candidate will focus on our fixed income separately managed account platform in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing fixed income separately managed accounts, servicing with institutional clients. The candidate will need to possess knowledge of fixed income markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio and risk management
- Fixed income securities and derivatives trade execution
- Mutual Fund Products management
- Client communication
- Detailed macro and micro-oversight of portfolios managed
- Risk oversight responsibilities for assigned portfolios
- Working knowledge of all key risks and themes being expressed across fixed income markets
- Knowledge of performance attribution drivers
- Portfolio review materials to clients
- Product development/evolution
Key Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in financial industry, preferably in fixed income market to manage yen denominated assets
- Trade execution management
- Experience in fixed income portfolio management with good understanding of portfolio management theory, risk management experience and Japan credit market
- Credit analysis and producing credit research material.
- ESG management and engagement
- Proven analytical and time management skills
- Excellent communication, commercial and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, well organized, and strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, "teamwork" oriented
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Fluency in Japanese & business level in English
