The Asset Management Alternatives Private Execution and Closing (AM Alts E&C) team is seeking an Associate to support the various business lines within the Alternative Asset Management Business.
This is an exceptionally diverse role that entails collaboration with global Deal teams, Strategists, Controllers, Legal, Technologists, Risk, Credit, Tax, Compliance & cross Operational groups to facilitate a business that is multi-asset, dynamic and bespoke. Asset classes supported including Public & Private Securities, Loans, and bespoke structures for issuers which span industry sectors.
The successful individual will be expected to work in a team of Execution and Closing professionals and exhibit the following skills: commercial thinking, strong attention to detail, creativity, whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management.

Asset Management Alternatives Execution & Closing team members are operational subject matter experts who play a critical role in supporting bespoke and varied transactions. Primary responsibilities in this highly varied and dynamic role include partnering with the business to book and close transactions, supporting new business activity including the launch of new fund entities, monitoring associated operational controls, and helping the team drive infrastructure enhancement initiatives.

Gain an in depth & comprehensive understanding of a wide range of products & bespoke transactions
Leverage your skills to propose operational solutions
Interact with senior stakeholders and drive priorities
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be comfortable in a high pressure environment
Confident in their verbal and written communication, especially with senior audience
Strong problem solving and presentation skills
High attention to detail
Innate curiosity and drive
Able to work well in a team environment - across teams and regions
Preferred Qualifications
Prior knowledge of Loans, Equities, Bonds and Derivatives preferred
In depth knowledge of GS infrastructure
