About the role

The Credit Purchasing Supervisor is responsible of managing the credit and leasing purchasing process and oversee external stakeholders (insurance companies and vendors) to ensure an optimal origination process flow. This position manages 4 team members and supports their development to achieve individual and team objectives. He/She will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the satisfactory response time and quality contract purchasing as well as propose, develop, and implement different projects in processes improvements.

The supervisor must interact with different areas within the company such Underwriting, Wholesale, Dealer Care, Finance, Collections, Customer Service, Compliance and Legal for ensuring credit policies and procedures.

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields.
    • Desirable: Master's degree in Business or Finance.
  • At least +5 years of experience in credit and/or leasing processes
  • At least +3 years of experience in team management or leadership roles
  • Experience in logistic of processes and documental control, as well as productivity and quality assurance
  • Spanish & English Proficiency (English will be evaluated during interviews)
  • High level of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with the team, teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proactivity and initiative
  • High analytical capacity and problem-solving ability
  • Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and accurately
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Reporting and data visualization tools are plus such as Power BI are a plus)

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for supervising and developing the contract purchasing team
  • Tracking of process flow and detection of possible process improvements
  • Ensure a strong logistic of the process, documental control, productivity, and quality
  • Assure individual and team productivity
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining satisfactory response time and quality contracts purchased, providing feedback if necessary
  • Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established by GMF
  • Responsible to provide support to the progress, completion, and update of BPMS phases, assist in the improvement of the deployment of the methodology
  • Takes responsibility for projects to improve operative processes
  • Give support on tests and deployments for IT projects
  • Tracking of special migrations projects to our LAO Service Center
