About the role

The Commercial Risk Sr Representative, as part of the company's risk organization, is responsible for the credit risk analysis required for having the approval of credit lines (renewal or establishment). Underwriter will be responsible for completing the credit risk assessment on commercial accounts for dealerships and commercial risk customers.

What you need

  • +2 years of recent experience underwriting commercial customers from diverse industries (including leasing companies).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
    • MBA desirable but not required.
  • Spanish & Fluent English (will be evaluated)
  • Proficient in reviewing and understanding financial statements (will be evaluated during interview).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to policies.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

What you will be doing

  • This role is responsible for analyzing financial statements, credit data and internal information to determine a risk rating and a recommendation to establish a new credit facility or to renew the customer's current credit lines. Through a credit review, the analyst will document and submit their assessment for approval to Risk/Operations as required.
  • In this role you must be able to work with other departments, office branches, and/or end-customer to effectively complete the assessment and obtain the approval/rejection. Must quickly understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
