Glossier is looking for a creative, community-first social media maven to support the development of ownable, best-in-class social strategy and social marketing campaigns. This person will support the social team and will be responsible for audience and engagement growth across all owned channels to drive brand awareness and advocacy. This will include the daily management of channel operations (content planning & creation, calendar management, supporting where needed on copywriting) along with executing the social strategy for all brand launches, in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye and be at the forefront of social trends and innovation as well as the ability to develop channel-by-channel goals and effectively measure success. You will play a key role in driving engagement, gathering feedback, and creating strategies to grow and strengthen our community.

Expectations
- Cross-channel calendar management and execution with the ability to strategically plan engaging content and push innovation across hero channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on briefing opportunities to strategically feature our community across owned social
- Ad hoc content creation on Tik Tok, Instagram Stories, and Instagram, as needed
- Stay on top of social media trends and identify moments for Glosser to tap in
- Willingness to work from HQ at least 3 days per week to support the team
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in working in social media management and content development within the beauty industry or related sectors
- Strong communication written and verbal skills and attention to detail, particularly in regards to consumer-facing content
- A customer-first mindset, with a passion for creating memorable content moments; willingness to challenge “what’s expected” when it comes to the brand content landscape
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational teams, building cross-functional relationships and advocating for brand outcomes
- Expertise in content creation across social media platforms and ability to execute
- Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
- Highly proactive, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners to make things happen with limited resources
In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:
- The estimated annual pay range for this role is $30-$35 per hour. There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
- 40 hours per week
Compensation for the role will be determined based on permissible, non discriminatory factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
